To qualify for the Hexagon Credit Union Switcher Promise, you must buy a Hexagon Credit Union Home Insurance policy, cancel your previous home insurance policy and pay your insurer's cancellation fee. You’ll then need to send us a copy of your previous insurer’s cancellation confirmation, plus confirmation of the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is the fee that your previous insurer charges for cancelling their insurance. It doesn’t include any broker fees or premium you’re due to pay. It can take up to 8 weeks from the date you buy your policy to get your switcher promise payment. We won’t process payments until we get the information we’ve asked you to send us about your cancellation fee and evidence that it’s been paid. Before we can make the switcher promise payment, you’ll need to have paid your first premium and passed the 14-day cooling-off period.
